Rigid bearing for harmonic reducer and flexible bearing for the harmonic reducer is mainly composed of the harmonic generator on the industrial robots. rigid bearing (Crossed Roller Bearing), and flexible bearing (Thin-section Radial Contact Ball Bearing).

Harmonic reducer is generally used in the fields of robots, machine tools, and aerospace, etc. These fields have high requirements for the precision of harmonic reducer, rigidity, and loading capacity; therefore, the parts inside of harmonic reducers are required to have increased production precision and mounting precision.

As for the rigid bearing (Crossed Roller Bearing), before leading the factory, the preload is applied to the rigid bearing to make bearings rigid enough.
As for the flexible bearing (Thin-section Radial Contact Ball Bearing) is ideal for the maximum radial deformation.

-Outer ring, the inner ring, and rolling elements are made of high-carbon chromium bearing steel because the bearing wall will have some deformation when bearings are working with cams due to the slim wall of approaches.
